Yolanda Aguilar Candelario is EnviroVoter’s Youth Organizing Associate. In her work, Yolanda leads the Ambassador Program where she supports the empowerment of young leaders to champion in organizing and political power among key climate crisis issues. Yolanda graduated from the University of California, Riverside with a Master in Public Policy with a research focus on youth civic engagement throughout the Inland Empire. She previously worked with The Outreach Team where she worked on quality control metrics to ensure equity across voter registration and voter contact on the ground in the state of Pennsylvania. In addition, Yolanda served as an intern with County of Riverside and a Fellow with the Western Riverside Council of Governments where she worked closely with their Government Affairs team to support internship/fellowship programs equipped for our future leaders. Yolanda’s goal is to mobilize young people, especially BIPOC. In her free time, Yolanda enjoys trying new coffee shops, spending time with her adorable nephews and nieces, and learning ways to get involved in her community. Blake Ballard is EnviroVoters’ Philanthropy Associate. In this role, he is responsible for fundraising administration, data management and event coordination. Blake has previously worked as an Organizing Fellow with People for the American Way and Business Development Representative at EveryAction/NGPVAN where he assisted various nonprofits and campaigns with database management and fundraising strategies. Charlotte Fall is EnviroVoters’ Grant Writer. In this role, she supports the management of our grants portfolio by developing proposals and reports to secure funding for our programs. She is passionate about creating lasting change for our future generations by advancing an inclusive environmental movement. Prior to joining EnviroVoters, Charlotte participated in AmeriCorps’ American Conservation Experience in Arizona, worked at the Environmental League of Massachusetts’ with the development team, and at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center with the residential clean energy team. Charlotte graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Human Services and International Affairs. Theresa Landis is EnviroVoters’ Human Resources Generalist. Born and raised in the Bay Area, she brings five years of diverse human resources experience to the team. Theresa’s areas of subject matter include recruitment, onboarding, project management, and HRIS system administration. She graduated from University of Southern California with a Master of Human Resource Management. She loves to spend time with her daughter, cook, listen to music, attend festivals, and travel. Lucia Muñoz is EnviroVoters’ Legislative Affairs Intern. In this role, she supports the legislative teams’ efforts to pass and support meaningful climate legislation. Her work includes tracking bills, helping coordinate events and learning about policy. She is currently a student at the University of California, Davis majoring in International Relations with an emphasis on the Global Environment. Prior to EnviroVoters she interned in Washington D.C at the National Hispanic Medical Association, working around environmental health and BIPOC health. She is passionate about ensuring environmental policy and solutions are intersectional and just for all. Mattea Pechter is EnviroVoters’ Campaigns and Organizing Manager. Mattea works to connect grassroots energy to climate champions and build power in communities that have been historically excluded from the process of policy making and the opportunity to hold their legislators accountable. Mattea is a former Field Director working on electoral races at the local, state, and national level. She graduated from Ursinus College with a bachelors in Environmental Studies, with a focus on the social and political dynamics that have brought us where we are today.
